 The Dippers – Swimming Pool Helper and Volunteer Drivers

A Swimming Pool Helper is urgently needed to assist one of their members and his personal carer in the swimming pool in Jedburgh between 12- 1 p.m. on Mondays.

Volunteer Drivers are required to take members from their homes in Galashiels, Earlston and Coldstream to Kelso Swimming Pool.


Cheviot Youth – Activity Leader

To help lead Ancrum Youth Club in activities/events on a Thursday evening. Any skills can be relevant to expanding the range of projects arranged.


 Independent Custody Visiting Scotland SPA - Independent Custody Volunteer Visitors

Independent custody visitors are members of the local community who visit police stations unannounced to check on the treatment of detainees held in custody. Borders wide opportunity.

Brothers of Charity – Volunteer Cafe Assistant

The volunteer assistant will work alongside our staff and trainees in the café. Taking orders and serving members, operating the till and ensuring the work area is kept clean.


Fertility Network Scotland – Various roles available Borders wide

Fertility Network Scotland are looking to increase their volunteer network across Scotland and in particular areas such as the Borders region. Some of their voluntary roles involve peer support therefore more suited to those who have experience of fertility issues. Other roles are more general such as Student and General volunteers.
